Edinburgh Academy 21 in 21 Challenges

A massive thank you to all the pupils at the Edinburgh Academy who have been taking part in 21 in 21 challenges to support Down’s Syndrome Scotland this Awareness Week! 

We have loved hearing about all their fantastic challenges including: 

  • Alfie and Aaron – who took on best of 21 sets of tennis, they played for 11 hours and raised a staggering £1,500!
  • Zara, Survi and Amelia who walked 21 km around Edinburgh and have raised £637!
  • Megan and Brodie who are each swimming 21 km by the 21 of March so far they have raised £517!
  • Christine, Hannah and Sofia who are participating in a 21-hour sponsored silence and have raised £247!
  • Clement and Eirini who are running 2.1 miles everyday from 1st to 21st March – they have raised £402!
  • Daijon who is cycling 2.1 km every day of March and has raised £284!
  • Matilda, Aanya and Chidi are doing 21-star jumps every day for 21 days – they have raised £246!
  • Isaac and Amelia are both running for 21 minutes every day and have raised £296!
  • George and Matty are doing a 210 Push-ups and sit-ups challenge every day by the end of the challenge they will have done 8,820 push-ups and 8,820 sit-ups. So far they have raised £175!
  • Fergus is doing 21 keep-ups with a hockey stick and ball for 21 days and has raised £56 so far!
